Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 April 2026

This policy explains how ReflectionGuide uses cookies and similar storage technologies, including local storage and session storage in your browser. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

Under PECR and UK GDPR, we only use non-essential cookies and similar technologies with your consent. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the Service cannot function without them.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also refer to similar technologies such as local storage, session storage, pixels, and SDK identifiers. PECR applies to a wide range of these storage and access technologies, not just classic browser cookies.

2. The categories we use

We group cookies and similar technologies into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for core functionality such as authentication, session management, security, and storing your cookie preferences.
  • Functional — used to remember settings or improve user experience. Off by default until you consent.
  • Analytics — used to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Off by default until you consent.
  • Marketing — used for advertising or campaign measurement. We do not currently use marketing cookies. If we add them, they will be off by default and only loaded with consent.

3. How to control cookies

You can accept all categories, reject optional categories, or choose specific ones using our cookie banner. You can change your choices at any time by selecting "Cookie settings" in the footer.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting them or blocking them. Doing so may affect how the Service works.

4. Cookie and storage table

The table below describes the cookies and browser storage currently in use on the Service.

5. Third-party cookies

Some categories of cookies and storage are set by third parties on our behalf, such as our authentication and payment providers. These third parties are listed as processors in our Privacy Policy and operate under written agreements with us.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates the most recent change.
